This is a new section of the blog. I am going to start to release videos as often as possible to build (re-build) the ship from the start. This was inspired by the continuing improvements I have discovered that require I start a lot of things over to incorporate these upgrades. Each post will have a LeoCAD shot of the proposed section to be constructed along with a time-lapse video showing the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As there are a lot of repetitive aspects of this build, I am only going to complete posts and videos of the first time I build a component. So things will jump between videos but the intent is to show the build process for the whole ship. I should have enough pieces in inventory to complete (re-complete):<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. One of the eleven engines<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. The reactor block – this will take several videos as it is a massive section of the build – I am not looking forward to taking the current prototype apart<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. The cylindrical part of the ship between the reactor block and the main part of the hull<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. The frame of the main part of the hull – I have not prototyped this part of the ship so it will be exciting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
