This is a new section of the blog. I am going to start to release videos as often as possible to build (re-build) the ship from the start. This was inspired by the continuing improvements I have discovered that require I start a lot of things over to incorporate these upgrades. Each post will have a LeoCAD shot of the proposed section to be constructed along with a time-lapse video showing the process.
As there are a lot of repetitive aspects of this build, I am only going to complete posts and videos of the first time I build a component. So things will jump between videos but the intent is to show the build process for the whole ship. I should have enough pieces in inventory to complete (re-complete):
1. One of the eleven engines
2. The reactor block – this will take several videos as it is a massive section of the build – I am not looking forward to taking the current prototype apart
3. The cylindrical part of the ship between the reactor block and the main part of the hull
4. The frame of the main part of the hull – I have not prototyped this part of the ship so it will be exciting!
